Sightseeing at a Parisian Pace – 4

Posted by Jay in Travel on March 6th, 2014

When I wasn’t busy jumping queues and outrageously flaunting my disability [for the greater good, of course] I met up with new and old friends in Paris.

Having been a member of Couchsurfing for coming up to 4 years now, I have been able to meet people from all over the place by either staying over at their place or meeting them at different events.

This was taken at a quiz event a few days ago, we did not win. We did not even come close to winning, but lots of fun was had.

Apart from one, these would be the people that I would spend Valentine’s Day singing with

That’s one of the great thing I love about Couchsurfing just meeting random people that you may not have ordinarily, and especially as I was travelling by myself which I so often I am, it’s always nice to have a little bit of company along the way.

Simply had to go to the Pont des Arts Bridge and stake a claim!

Valentine’s Day in Paris was a lot of fun as I went to Versailles and ended my evening singing my little heart out with previously met Couchsurfers, who I do hope will be coming to London soon!
